Oopsie
I’m Dan Piraro, the creator of the Bizarro newspaper comic, and this is my weekly blog post. The large Sunday Bizarro comic above is mine, as are the comments below. The past week’s Monday-Saturday Bizarro comics that follow were written and drawn by my partner Wayno, whose weekly blog post I highly recommend.

Oddly appropriate to today’s cartoon, I’ve sustained an eye injury that has limited my abilities for a few days, so I’ll have to keep this week’s post brief. No need to shower me with “get well soon” messages, but you’re free to feel as sorry for me as you’d like in the privacy of your own mind.
For anyone confused by the cartoon above: It’s something of a old-school cartoon meme for a cartoon character to be smashed flat by a falling piano or safe, or a steamroller in the street, and then be reanimated by putting a bicycle pump in their mouth and pumping them back up, or blowing on their thumb to do the same thing.
